The City, in conjunction with a developer, is proposing to amend a section of the zoning code to allow a very large and tall office building on on Stone Way between 34th and 35th streets. The code change would increase the height limit from 45 feet to 65 feet (not including roof top equipment).
The Community Council will hear from the developer, neighbors and interested parties and discuss what position or action should be taken by the WCC.
The Department of Planning and Development (DPD) says the “additional increments of view blockage and/or the incorporation of unconventional-appearing buildings” would pose “adverse but not significant adverse potential because, in part, the potentially affected vicinity is not highly sensitive.”
